Waltham Forest Council launches new Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

Waltham Forest Health and Wellbeing Board launched its new ‘Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy’ on 8 march 2016.

The strategy sets out plans to improve health and reduce inequalities in health outcomes across the borough.

This board is a forum where key leaders from the health and care system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of Waltham Forest residents and reduce inequalities in health.

They work together to understand the health needs locally, and agree priorities to help NHS Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group and Public Health Team to provide appropriate health services for the borough.

To mark the launch of the strategy, a short video was producing to celebrate Waltham Forest and the people who live here, and marks the launch of the Strategy.
