About this event
It's Cervical Screening Awareness Week (16 -22 June).
The aim of the week is to encourage eligible people to take part in screening when invited. Cervical screening is a test to detect the HPV virus, which can cause changes to the cells of the cervix.
If left untreated, these can develop into cervical cancer.
This quick, two-minute test can help prevent cervical cancer and save your life.
