Volunteer at Healthwatch Waltham Forest
- Do you want to make a positive difference within your local community?
- Would you like to build your skills and knowledge in health and social care?
- Do you want to ensure people feel listened to, involved and empowered to help influence better services?
Who can volunteer?
To volunteer with us, you must either reside within Waltham Forest or be a service user of health and social care within the borough and over the age of 16 years.
We believe that everyone is unique and has something valuable to contribute, from sharing life experiences, skills and knowledge, to untapped talent and the willingness to make a real difference to society. You do not need any qualifications to volunteer with us. Just a willingness to listen and talk to a range of individuals, an open mind and a desire to raise the voice of local people.
What are we looking for?
As a Healthwatch volunteer you can undertake as much or as little as you like from a range of specific roles. Volunteering your time should not be taxing but rewarding to benefit you and the wider community. Times are flexible to work around you and we ask for a commitment of 4 hours a month minimum.
