The NHS App will become the Doctor in your pocket. Charlie will aim to explain how Technology is being introduced into the Health Service. Apps like NHS App, Patients Know Best, eConsult and Accurx Triage service which are now being used.

Booking your blood test online means very short waiting time at the centre, and is now the easiest way. This session shows how to book it. Phil will also cover: how to get help with hearing loss, using the NHS website and other health apps like patient access and understanding ULEZ
Get help with using the NHS App
The NHS app is being adopted more widely in all GP surgeries in Waltham Forest, for booking appointments. So Age UK Waltham Forest is running Drop-In Sessions at some GP surgeries to get help with using the app. Our team will help you to install the app, understand how it works and show you how to book appointments and other functions. They can also help with other questions you may have with using your smart phone. You can drop in to any session, you don’t need to be registered there.
