Thursday 12th February from 6.30pm to 8.45pm at Chingford Library, The Green, Station Road, North Chingford, E4 7EN.

A supportive space will be created to explore how open conversations and planning can bring clarity, reassurance and peace of mind for ourselves and those we care for.

The session will include short discussions, brief presentations, and practical input from two sets of speakers:

  • End of Life Lead for Waltham Forest & Nurse Consultant Palliative Care - Practical ways to plan ahead for changes in health, including documenting and sharing wishes relating to future care
  • Compassionate Funerals in Wanstead - Planning a Funeral

Who is this evening for:

Anyone who wants to feel more confident talking about and planning for the end of life. You might find it especially helpful if you are:

  • Thinking about your own future and end of life care
  • Supporting, or beginning to support, a partner, parent, friend or relative
  • Someone working in a health & social care setting
  • Wanting to have more open & honest conversations about death and dying
