Help shape future clinical trials across North East London

A free event focussing focusing on building trust and genuine partnerships between healthcare researchers, industry partners and our local community.

Join ‘Community Conversations: Building Trust in Health Research’ on 31 March 2026, 10am-1pm, at Old Town Hall, 29 The Broadway, Stratford, E15 4BQ.  

Hosted by Barts Health NHS Trust, this free event will focus on building trust, transparency and genuine partnerships between local communities and those involved in health research, particularly when the pharmaceutical industry is involved.  

It’s a great opportunity to have open discussions and learn more about the research that impacts you and your community. We hope to see you there!  

What to expect:  

  • Talks from healthcare researchers, trial participants, and public contributors, with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions  
  • An introduction to the plans for the new Barts Health Clinical Research Facility, in partnership with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) North East London and the Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (ATTC)  
  • Lunch provided, with a chance to visit the ‘Research Marketplace’, showcasing local research studies.
