Pharmacies open on May Bank Holidays

Community pharmacies are not required to open on Bank Holidays so the Integrated Care Boards commission a bank holiday service.

The two May Bank Holidays are on Monday 4th May and Monday 25th May.

Pharmacies in Waltham Forest:

Leyton Green Pharmacy (020 8539 5984), 768 Lea Bridge Road, Walthamstow, E17 9DN will be open from 10am to 2pm.

Mount Pharmacy (020 8531 3522), 80 Chingford Mount Road, Chingford, E4 9AA will be open from 12pm to 4pm.

Please note that there will also be other community pharmacies which are open on Bank Holidays. However these are not part of the commissioned service and are opening voluntarily.
