Relocation of Francis Road GP Surgery.
The move is occurring because the lease, for the current premises at Francis Road, will be expiring.
All patients and carers have been contacted to explain the change ad confirm that patients will remain registered with Francis Road Medical Centre, their medical records will remain with the practice, and their GP care will continue as normal. The practice telephone number will remain the same on 020 8539 3131, along with the practice email address: Wfccg.francisroadmedicalcentre@nhs.net
The new purpose-built primary care facility will provide current and new patients of Francis Road with modern facilities including disability access. There will be a total of 6 clinical rooms, a large welcoming reception and waiting area, along with baby changing facilities. This means the practice will be able to increase their staffing levels and the skills mix of the team, so they can offer patients a wider range of services.
The Oliver Road Polyclinic is approximately 12 minutes’ walk, 4 minute cycling or 6 minutes by car from the current Francis Road site. Patients and carers have been provided with a map of the new location which includes travel directions from the existing site to the new premises in Francis Road.
Patients have also been advised that if the move to the new premises and the opportunity to access the practice at Oliver Road is not convenient for them or their families, they can find which other local practices they can join by visiting the "Find A GP" page on the NHS website.

- By bus: Take 58, 69, 97 or 158 to Buckingham Road on High Road Leyton. Walk along Buckingham Road, then turn right onto Oliver Road to reach the polyclinic. Bus routes
- By Tube: Leyton station (Central line) is approximately a 15-minute walk away.
- By car: Use postcode E10 5LG. Local street parking is limited; check signs for restrictions and charges.
- By taxi: Ask for Oliver Road Polyclinic, 75 Oliver Road, Leyton, E10 5LG.
