There are some places still available for the North East London Mental Health Summit to be held online from 2.30pm to 5pm on 1st September 2020 organised by the East London Health and Care Partnership.

By attending, you will get the chance to play a key part in the future of mental health services in North East London (Barking & Dagenham, City of London, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge and Waltham Forest).

If you are interested in attending, please email elft.mhsummit2020@nhs.net as soon as possible with your full name, job title and organisation (if applicable) and contact number.

We’ll give you an update on progress against priorities from last year’s summit, such as building a patient leadership programme and improving cultural awareness across North East London  You’ll also hear experiences from local people as we look at using our learning from Covid-19 to make long-lasting improvements to services. We will also have patient-led breakout sessions where you can help shape priorities for the next 12 months and beyond.

Some of the key areas we’ll be covering throughout the summit are:

• Tackling inequalities: ensuring fair and equal access for all

• Protecting our young people: giving young people a voice

• Improving wellbeing: learning from Covid-19 and a move to digital services.

A range of service users, healthcare professionals, providers, commissioners and local authority representatives are expected to attend.
