Whipps Cross Voices Project

Whipps Cross Voices is an upcoming project led by Barts Health Archives, in collaboration with the Whipps Cross Redevelopment Team.

The aim of the project is to capture stories about the hospital from staff and patients, past and present, and preserve them as a historical resource for the future. Stories will be made accessible in interactive ways in the archives space and on the hospital site.

The organisers are looking for volunteers to get involved. You may be interested in recording your memories and experiences of the hospital; in developing new skills working with the existing archive collections held by Barts Health NHS Trust in the archives (located at St Bartholomew’s Hospital); or in assisting with events on the hospital site or in the local area.

If you are interested in helping to capture the stories of Whipps Cross communities please join the online launch event which will be held on Wednesday 30 March, 5.30pm-6.30pm.
