Very rude receptionist and unprofessional

I went there because I have a kidney disease and needed help with the medication I was waiting by the hospital
She had no manners was really rude and when I asked to speak with a manager because my pain on left flank was really bad she started to laugh with a colleague about my stressed “behaviour “

Unfit for purpose

Unfortunately this surgery does not conduct basic checks especially if you are from a deprived background and are a ethnic minority from a poor background. I had blood pressure symptoms-dr didn't even offer me a check even developing world surgery offers this basic check, this was after a initial senior dr at the practice had said we have done too much for someone like you and laughed at me when I.told him I was under extreme pressure and stressdue to total social isolation. The list goes on, my mum was not contacted for her covid jab despite her vulnerable age and again for a double jab after she had managed to independently source a first jab by her own self. Please avoid this practice if you are not middle-class . The practice manager did not bother replying to a formal complaint. I have no confidence left in the nhs after my experience with them and suffer in agony after they left me for dead with thier refusal to deal with basic that have led to chronic disease.
So many hurdles to jump through to get an appointment

There are so many hurdles to jump through to get an appointment. You have to fill out an online form, which is very long-winded. I tried to contact the surgery recently and in the end I had to call urgent care instead because I couldn't get through.

Every time I have filled in an online form to speak to a Doctor, I have received a call from the Doctor the next morning. The receptionists have all been really helpful and reassuring too.

Had COVID at the end of 2019, along with husband who was very ill and admitted to hospital. Although now recovered, this developed into long-COVID and suffered from sweats and chills. The GP at Addison Road Surgery was dismissive of my symptoms. As a result, I paid £400 to have some private blood tests done and these showed that there were no underlying health problems.

Normally the doctors are pretty good, but recently there was some kind of admin error and I was removed from the patient list, even though I have been going to this surgery for about 55 years. They corrected the error the same day, but I only found out by accident. I went to the surgery last week and they have put very good precautions in place against COVID.

My experience is generally okay but I have skin cancer and have been operated. I needed a referral to the wound clinic but it never happened so now I’m left with a really bad scar. I was on antibiotics had a really hard time because they prescribed me with the wrong antibiotics three times

My young children and I have been patients here for the past 3 years. We have found them to provide great care and be very helpful and accommodating. The practice primarily uses eConsult and responds promptly to these, however if there is an urgent problem there is always a Duty Doctor to call back the same day. The Reception team are polite and helpful, and both medical and nursing teams have been friendly and provided excellent clinical care. I would highly recommend.

I get repeat prescriptions for statins and a cream for psoriasis sent to Boots.Statins once monthly,cream bi monthly.I have had a flu jab recently.

I last used my GP two years ago.It went well my ears were blocked.GP recommended that I went to another practice where it would be dealt with.Problem cleared up on its own where it would be dealt with.Problem cleared up on its own so I felt much better and am grateful to my GP Surgery.
