On the whole good

On the whole good; however there can be difficulty in booking appointments. It is hard to get an appointment in advance, which is difficult when you work.

The service is generally good. It has been harder to get an appointment since the start of the pandemic, but that is understandable. A recent experience visiting the surgery was very good.
Phone wait times are lousy

Phone wait times are lousy. Can be in the queue at number 18, you get to 4 or 3 then you’re cut off. Sometimes it’s better than that, but told it’s ‘state of the art’ and it doesn’t seem this way. Also, it’s not free, paying the whole call time. Sometimes uses Whipps Cross Hospital - ‘when Sadiq Khan’s car charges come in, if you need to go to the emergency dept / in one day and out the next, it would cost her £25. This is unfairly hitting pensioners. Thinks its ‘disgusting’.’ Apart from that, staff / hospital treatment - always good.

The service is okay. Some staff are amazing, some are appalling. Getting through on the phone is really difficult.

The receptionists and doctors are all very nice, but it is incredibly difficult to get through on the phone. Even when I get through I'm often told to call back another time.

The GP was very, very good when I had a blood clot in my leg. She referred me to Whipps Cross and I had an appointment the same day.
Efficient and helpful staff

I haven't used the surgery during the pandemic, but they have always been good in the past. The office staff are efficient and helpful.

The service has been fair throughout lockdown but the lack of face to face appointments is a problem. It is also hard to get through on the phone.

It is very difficult to get through on the telephone and the receptionists can be unhelpful. My experience of telephone appointments is that they are very rushed and the doctors don't have time to make a proper diagnosis. I have actually been told by a doctor after three minutes that they don't have anymore time and will be ending the appointment.
