Sadly, I can’t reach this practice

April 2, 2024
I have been trying to get in touch with the surgery since 29/02. I have tried both e-consult and calling. I have been 40+ in the queue at 8.10 am every day I call including today.
E-consult wasn’t working either (I have photos proving this). I have already paid for a minor
Treatment abroad after I have been refused to be seen by a specialist due to no significant health justifications . My condition got worse and I was treated abroad.
Do I have to pay for blood tests too? I wonder whether to stay or try a new surgery. I came
All the way from Homerton hospital to try my luck on Thursday to no avail. It means I have to take an annual leave to be able
To meet a GP for the very first time face -to-face in your surgery.
I’m losing hope this will ever happen.

Long wait on the phone as well as appointment

February 26, 2024
Even if you call sharp at 8 am in the morning to get an appointment, you will be help up in the queue at a position around 20-30s and would be held on the line for over 40 minutes just to get through to the receptionist. On hearing your condition they will either advice you to go to your nearest pharmacy or say you have been put on the doctor’s call list and will be contacted later during the day. No appointments given instantly and we have to stay available the whole day to receive a call from the GP and if we miss the call, they might try one more time or that’s it. I’m more concerned about the elderly, deceased and vulnerable patients who have to wait so long on the line with their condition. We need better care for the community, and faster response from both the receptionists as well as the doctors. Either increase the number of your receptionists or ask hem to receive the call promptly without wasting time chatting and loafing around. Maximum 10-15 mins waiting time is acceptable. No more. I called today on their inquiry line and was 6th on the queue, and waited 35 minutes to come to caller number 1 in the queue and waited a further 10 minutes to be answered.

I have had lots of negative issues with them

August 27, 2021
I would like to say I suffer from lots of health problems including diabetes and arthritis, I am on several different medications, until last month the last time I was seen by a doctor was in 2018, been put on medication and never had reviews nothing. My painkillers have been stopped and then I was placed on placebo effect painkillers which caused me to get painkillers from friends and family not knowing what I was taking until my daughter realised what was going on. Everytime we try to book and appointment we have to wait 30-50mins on the phone if your lucky you will speak to someone who will book you speak to the nurse or clinician (not a doctor) although we have requested to speak to doctor on several occasions. We have several times when we have been booked in for a telephone appointment the doctors claim they called however we’ve never been called this is an ongoing issue. I don’t believe the reviews on here is genuine on here as this a terrible gp practice. I have blood thinning medicine which I am on for 3-4 years. I have had arthritis for 30 years and never been seen by a consultant over the years and my GP has refused on several occasions to send me to see a consultant. I don’t know what do anymore

GP surgery

Very good service most of the time. We have no complaints. The only thing is that with the phone consultations you don't know what time the doctor is going to call back. Sometimes I find it hard to understand and absorb what the doctor tells me over the phone.

Even before the pandemic the service was in decline and now it's very poor.

This used to be a family-run practice but now, like so many surgeries, it's been turned into a business. Even before the pandemic the service was in decline and now it's very poor. My late husband had cancer and I tried to get home visits arranged for him, but they were reluctant to agree. They didn't even send one of our regular doctors. It was very disappointing.

Very good service. I called them this morning to speak to a doctor and my GP called me back within the hour.

Very hard to get through on the phone

May 5, 2021
Muffled phone line, has complained already. Confusing messages where you can't understand what they say, is very hard to get hold of anybody. Once you get through it's ok and experience with the doctors is great. Receptionists can be abrupt at times.

The service is always excellent

May 4, 2021
The service is always excellent. I have no complaints. It's not really fair to give them a score for appointment availability based on the circumstances of the last year. They have had to change all their systems to work around the pandemic.

The surgery staff are extremely helpful

April 13, 2021
The surgery staff are extremely helpful and kind and they do call back when they say they will, but not being able to see the doctor in person is a problem. Sending pictures by mobile is not easy for me to do.
