Excellent Service

The surgery is marvellous. Has been with them since 1958. Very well organised.

The service was okay before COVID, but since the pandemic they have inroduced a lot of things and it isn't the same. Had a problem getting a prescription for her husband. The surgery said they had sent it to the pharmacy but they hadn't. Had to chase several times before prescription was sorted out. They do their best and workload has increased signficantly since COVID so understands things are tough. It can be very difficult to get through on the phone.

Very difficult to get hold of doctor now, can only get through on the phone in the morning. Usually would get a letter about flu jab but has not got one this year so is having the flu jab done at Tesco. Doctors rooms are always messy. Cannot ask for a particular doctor. Usually has to wait at least half an hour for appointment, with one doctor it has been over an hour waiting past the appointment time, every time.

Generally happy with the surgery. Gets all the services that she needs. Hasn't had much experience of them during the lockdown.

Really good service and very friendly staff. Pre-COVID would have scored 4 for ease of getting an appointment.

The service at this surgery is fine and they have recently extended their appointment times into the evening, which is helpful. The one thing that could be improved is the phone switchboard system as it is very hard to get through. There have been times when Mrs B****** has been number 1 in the queue, only to be bounced back to number 5 for no apparent reason.

Finds the surgery very frustrating as it is so difficult to get through to reception on the phone. The phone menu options send you round in circles and don't connect you properly. Was once 4th in the queue, but was still holding for 40 minutes. Reception staff are generally good, but had bad experience where asked for appointment to have blood pressure taken and was told to go out and buy a machine for home use instead as GP/nurse would not do this.
