Brilliant care from doctor and practice nurse

My last GP has retired, the GP taking over her caseload took the time to contact me to ask about my health and recent diagnosis and offer support; today the practice nurse called me to help organise a new medication - very swift and efficient.

Doctors are crap , aggressive and rude , 3rd world standard , in fact the doctors in the.3rd world.are.better now and are like doctors.should be. Totally a crap service

reception staff are rude and not helpful at all. doctors are only working 2 days per week and always you get a new doctor that hasn't got a clue about you as a patient, your medical hystory and your care needs. 10 min appointment is gone by the time new doctor reads your notes then he tells you to come back as apointment is finished, this is an absolute joke. doctors@handworth medical dont care, staff @reception are rude too

Excellent service. I have managed to get both telephone and face to face appointments recently. My GP is very through and spends time listening to his patients properly. Getting through to the surgery can be tricky first thing, but it's fine later on in the morning.

The service is generally good, although the admin team can be a little short sometimes.

The service is slow. It's difficult to get an appointment and to see my own doctor. There's just no connection these days. They're not interested. Sometimes I end up waiting all day for a call back. One doctor there is bordering on rude. They just make you feel like you're a nuisance.

The telephone receptionist was very rude, kept cutting me off, talking over me and speaking to me as if I were a child. This woman's unprofessional and cold affect is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I am unsure if she is new as I have never in the 27 years of being a patient here encountered such an abrasive telephone manner from staff, who up until now have been very polite. Horrible woman.

Good, responsive service from the doctors and reception staff are always helpful. It's very difficult to get through on the telephone though and I am unhappy about the queuing system. If they don't have an appointment in the morning then they ask you to call back in the afternoon for an appointment that day. What is the point of that?
