Excellent service

The smoking cessation service run by Handsworth Medical Practice is excellent. The times were very convenient for me and the practitioner was extremely good.

The service is good overall. I would say that one doctor is appalling - no bed-side manner. The others are very good though.

Fine. No problems. I've always been able to get an appointment the same day when I've needed one. I was there recently and the waiting area was all socially distanced.

Positive on the whole, could usually get an appointment pre-covid, and the surgery has been organising vaccinations. Could always be better but on the whole good.

Never any problems when they call, can get same day appt. Request to see particular doctor, normally always successful. Vaccine programme - all vaccinated. Best surgery in Waltham Forest. This is my third surgery. Think possibly because they cover a smalll area. All the staff are nice.
Hard to get in contact via phones

Hasn’t got a 5 because it’s hard to get in contact via phones at certain times, strict regime for appt slots, same day appts not always possible.

August last year - kidney stone, had surgery at both Whipps Cross Hospital & Holly House Buckhurst Hill IG9 5HX. Waiting for stones to pass but didn’t, had it removed, surgery called after to check if I'm alright. GP picked up something else, got another scan done quickly, follow up calls quickly from the doctor. Summary - really thorough, excellent follow ups from GP.
