I’m pregnant and very disappointed

I am pregnant and constantly getting cramps. I am still early into my pregnancy and this is scaring me. On top of that I am sure I have a throat infection I haven’t been abla to talk properly for the past 3 days and due to this I haven’t been able to go to work and they have given me an appointment for the 7th June 2021 ! That is 2 weeks away ! I am in shock as to how careless these people are. Makes me sick.
Always call and can get a face to face appointment appointment.

Despite pandemic, always call and can get a face to face appointment appointment. Can be very difficult to get through on the phone, sometimes wait 15 minutes.

Don’t feel like I can answer around now (Covid). Feels it’s a matter of luck with getting appointments via the phone. I haven't made any appointments recently. Not easy to get through on the phone at the best of times. All the receptionists are different - some good / bad. Sees the GP’s as gatekeepers. Doctors vary in quality

Takes forever to get a prescription to the chemist. Don’t know if it’s the chemist or the GP surgery but really not a good experience. Mainly see the nurses in surgery

Fairly efficient. The surgery helped me to book both my COVID vaccines, which was very good.
Staff sometimes ok

Inconsistency. Booking an appt sometimes feels like it’s just the receptionists choice. Staff sometimes ok, sometimes you end up arguing. You are told don’t argue etc.
