Awful service

February 22, 2024
Even trying since November to get an appointment following in from my consultants letter to change my medication, its February and still no joy. You call at 8 and straight away your told there's no appointments left. I've tried the online service to receive a text saying to call to make an appointment. It's a total joke this surgery used to be great it is now totally shocking. I've tried turning up outside but in winter to stand there for 45 minutes before it opens with my health complaint is possible. I am now presuming to get help I simply have to go back to my consultant.

Useless service, 30 in queue, got thru at 9.5

March 24, 2023
Explained that I needed to see someone urgently after an episode of falling at 3am this morning and being violently sick. Unable to get up - and very hot sweats but no temperature! Hate talking to the receptionists, despite their training in assessment. Asked how many Dr's were in surgery was told 2. This surgery has at least 9/10 practicing medical staff and yet only 2 in work (2 ill) what about the rest. Recently received message about the medicines I am taking and the importance of reporting anything unusual. Need to see a Dr to do this. Can I please find another GP - all my friends say theirs are almost back to normal

Rude Female Receptionist

February 26, 2023
Some reception staff members are extremely rude and fail to listen to your request. Listening is a very important skill which they should learn. You can never get an appointment on the day. You ring at 8am, get connected at 8:30 and then to be told no appointments. I am then told to come in person for an appointment, bearing in mind I explained to them that I am at work. The response was try again tomorrow. Did just that and the same scenario occurred. This is absurd...getting an appointment is like gold dust in this place.

Rude, un-professional female Receptionists

May 23, 2022
They keep patient waiting on a queue for a very long time and then when our turn comes up, they either disconnect the call or says that they can't hear us. I've have been through this experience with them on numerous occasions. Today I had a triage appointment which I made on 10 May and I was told by the female receptionist the appointment was from 08:00 to 12:30 at the time of making the appointment, but I did not get a call in the given time. Around 13:25 I received a text message from the Doctor that he tried to call me but couldn't get me and left a voice message to call back to speak to him. Since 13:30pm I have been trying to get hold of the doctor but after waiting for whole one hour on the telephone queue the receptionist disconnects the call saying that she can't hear me despite I can hear her very clearly and I was speaking very loudly. Then from 14:45 onwards I have been trying to call back but continuously been put on hold and cannot get to speak to some. Finally, I got connected at 16:50, but the female receptionist said the appointment was for 2pm which cannot be right because the doctor tried to call me before that but couldn't get hold of me due to connection issue in my workplace. When I try to explain her the situation, she starts blaming me that it's all my faults and I have to call back again next day to make a new appointment. When I tried to tell her that I was given a wrong info from your surgery she was not interested to listen to me and when I raised my voice that why I am to be blamed for the surgery's un-professional service she disconnected the phone. Similar incident happened when I try to make an appointment for my diabetic nurse first week of May, I was told again by a female receptionist that all appointments are fully booked for next 2 weeks and told me to call back in 2 weeks' time. But when I called a week later a male receptionist offered an appointment for 31 May, which was the only available appointment, there was no other appointment were available for further 2 weeks. If I have waited for another week to call for an appointment, I would have probably been told again by a female receptionist there is no appointment and call back in next 2 weeks' time. The service is getting appalling from bad to worst. Majority of the female receptionists are un-professional, rude and offer very poor service. This appointment system is not working well at all. Patients are suffering in the hand of female receptionists. I appeal your organisation to please look into this issue and make Patients life easy in getting the appointment. Just to make an appointment make the patient sicker. When I joined over 20 years ago The Allum Medical Centre was one the best practice in Leytonstone area.

Dismissive reception staff, hard to get appt

February 16, 2022
The Album was once considered the best practice in the area, now it offers a very poor service. Sometimes it has taken 3 days of calling throughout the day before the phone was answered. Then a recorded msg may inform me that I was number 27 in the queue. On one occasion after trying for a long time I finally got through and requested an appointment, I had a serious health problem. After telling the receptionist what the problem was, she dismissed it, said all doctors were busy, try again tomorrow. So I called 111, who were very supportive. They fast-tracked me into hospital, scans showed that I needed surgery.

Appaling

December 8, 2021
Receptionists like to cause arguments, rude and refuse to give complaint procedures when asked, some of the doctors are rude and don't care about anything, been misdiagnosed for 3 yrs been sent to private hospitals that the surgery know will send you back because they don't have facilities to treat, make you feel inhuman and threaten to remove you from the record if you try complain
