Excellent Service

The staff and doctors at this surgery are always very nice, helpful and understanding. Never any problems. It's generally easy to get through on the phone, though it has been slightly harder since the pandemic.

Excellent Service

The surgery staff are very caring and responsive and they always listen. Through no fault of their own it has now become much harder to get appointments due to COVID. There used to be late appointments, which were very helpful, but these have now stopped. Previously ease of getting an appointment would have scored a 5, but it has become much harder due to the pandemic.

Good Service

The practice is very well run. Although it has been harder to book appointments by phone since lockdown, it is easy to book online. Pre-COVID the waiting area was never too busy and this lady was always seen close to her appointment time.

Poor Service

November 1, 2020
I've always been extremely pleased with the surgery and quality of care up until lockdown. I had bleeding from my uterus in April and was quickly referred for treatment in a private hospital under the NHS and had polyp removed within 3 weeks. Since lockdown, experience has deteriorated. I was disappointed with telephone appointments, particularly for arthritis in shoulder, and would like to be able to explain how the pain is affecting me in person. Very frustrated at how long it takes to get through on the phone to make an appointment since lockdown.

GP appointment

September 30, 2020
All you can get now it a telephone consultation. I have been waiting for a liver check for over 3 months. My GP says he is still waiting for the referral to go through. He told me to call back in 4 weeks time again. You never get to speak to the same GP.

Disappointing

September 3, 2020
This GP was the closest and seemed the best option at the time as I was new to the area. They have done nothing to get to know us as their new patients. I have, since March been unwell, I am in a lot of pain, I still don't know what is going on with my body, my mental state is slowly suffering too, feel anxious. They have sent me for blood tests, they don't seem to want to do much unless you push for the help. I am made to feel like a bother, they just don't want to do much more. Don't even ask for a sick note, they don't want to give that either. I had to keep asking several times on 2-3 separate occasions even after speaking with the doctor, I had to keep calling back, 3, 4 times repeating that I'd spoken with the doctor and why I still had not received my sick note. Until I am better or what ever my future holds, I need the help of my doctor, I need to be covered until I am better (I hope) I Just wish they didn't make it even harder, make me feel worse each time I call, (I dread calling my GP and asking for any help be it my sick note or letting my doctor know I am still feeling pain. No patient wants to feel dread calling their GP, these people trained to be care givers, doctors so why do they not make us feel like they don't care and don't 'keep bothering them). One week I asked to speak with the doctor, the secretary, (not very welcoming either, one was very abrupt, say no more), took my message and said doctor will call you at 10-12pm so I waited. When the doctor called me, honestly I felt as if all she wanted was to rule me out, doesn't want to give me the extention for my sick note, I had to call back 3 times and then I was told something else. I am not myself, I know my body and my body keeps telling me(painfully) something is wrong but the doctors are not taking it seriously.
