Cross for severe arthritis pain. The service there has been very poor. There has been a complete lack of information from the consultant, even though she has had MRI tests done. Also, appointments were set up for her, but we did not receive the letters, and when we missed one of the appointments she was removed from the hospital list and referred back to the doctor again. She is in terrible pain and they still haven't decided on her treatment yet.
both as an in-patient and as an out-patient. The staff have always been friendly, but they don't always explain things unless you chase them. There have also been times when I have been told that I have to have an appointment by a certain date, but the hospital hasn't contacted me, and if I hadn't chased I wouldn't have got the appointment that I needed. Cleanliness isn't always great. On one occasion the toilet was left in a disgusting state.
