Project exploring experiences of people with dementia living in privately rented homes

Queen Mary University of London is conducting a study exploring the experiences, including the needs and challenges, of people with dementia who live in privately rented homes in London.

The researcher wishes to speak with people with dementia, family carers, and homecare, housing advice and support workers. The researcher can travel to meet with participants and interviews can be in person or online, whichever they prefer.

A group of participants will be able to co-create a short film (2-3 minutes long) to raise awareness of these experiences which will be filmed and edited by a professional film company. In addition to the opportunity to take part in the development of the film, they can appear in it if they wish.
