Black women please share your experience of maternity and neonatal services

If so, please share your experiences, to help shape more inclusive care, by attending this listening session that is being held on Tuesday 22nd September from 10m to 12pm at the Newham African Caribbean Resources Centres, 627 - 633 Barking Road, Plaistow, E13 9EZ.
The recent National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation, led by Baroness Valerie Amos, highlighted racism, discrimination and inequalities as significant concerns within maternity and neonatal services. The investigation heard experiences of women not being listened to or believed, as well as unfair or unequal treatment, stereotyping and discrimination.
This listening session is an opportunity for Black women in our local communities to share their own experiences of maternity and neonatal care.

Your experiences will help MVNP work with local maternity and neonatal services to understand where improvements are needed, and how services can become safer, more equitable, inclusive and responsive to Black women.
The session will provide a safe and welcoming space where you can speak openly about your experiences.
A £20 grocery voucher for will be provided for attending the session. Refreshments will be provided. Childcare will be available.
