In November 2020, Barts Health NHS Trust consulted with local people about their emerging designs for a new Whipps Cross hospital and the redevelopment of the wider site. They are now presenting their updated designs following feedback from the local community and staff.

Their plans aim to transform the area, creating a new, state-of-the-art NHS hospital, with improved access to the site and new green spaces, re-establishing its connection to the surrounding forest. On the wider site they envisage a vibrant neighbourhood with new amenities for everyone to enjoy, including a public park.

The online public discussion meeting will include a presentation from the project team and an open Q&A session for you to put forward your questions to the team and provide your thoughts on their updated plans.
