Cervical Screening Awareness Week is 17th to 23rd June.

Diabetes UK are hosting a free online event (via Zoom) on Tuesday 2 July from 12 to 1.30pm with Hellena Habte-Asres, Lead Clinical Academic Research Nurse in Diabetes & Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), who will be discussing the link between diabetes and kidney disease, and why it’s important to have your kidney health checked at your annual diabetes review.

Carers Week is 10th to 16th June, an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face, and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

This week (June 10th -16th) is Diabetes Awareness Week. Diabetes UK will be in the borough for a a pair of Type 2 Diabetes Information events at local libraries.
