The NHS New Hospital Programme’s Transformation directorate would like to invite you to a 90- minute virtual workshop about your experience of using Car Parks on Tuesday 30th January 2024. At the  workshop, they will give a summary and update on the New Hospital Programme. You will also be invited to share your thoughts as a health service user. Your opinions will be taken forward for further discussion to impact the design of our new hospitals.

Junior doctors, including those at our local Whipps Cross hospital, will be on strike from 7am on Wednesday 3rd January to 7am on Tuesday 9th January.

Diabetes UK have organised a FREE Bowling Social Event designed exclusively for individuals aged 16-25 living with Type 1 Diabetes. It’s not just a bowling night – it’s a chance to connect, share experiences, and make lasting friendships in a fun and supportive environment.

Diabetes UK have organised a free online event – Diabetes and the Menopause – on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 from 6.30pm to 8pm, via Zoom.

The successful pilot of a cutting-edge diagnostic procedure at Whipps Cross hospital is helping hundreds of patients get their test results faster. The technique called transnasal endoscopy is less uncomfortable than traditional methods and not only better for the patient but more efficient too.

A dedicated unit providing same day emergency care has opened at Whipps Cross University Hospital to provide faster treatment for a group of patients who would otherwise be admitted to a ward.
