Something popped in my right hand. Very swollen and acute pain. Told triage got bit arthritis in thumb, no trouble. Told her my symptoms. Saw a practice nurse or doctor (?). Didn't get name. She told me because I told triage I had bit of arthritis in thumb (never had a problem) that was what it was as she has arthritis so just rub it and don't bother with painkillers. She sat at opposite end of desk - did not look at my hand. No X-Ray. After going elsewhere I was diagnosed with a damaged ligament which is healing 6 months on. I feel that I did not have any professional treatment. How could she diagnose what she didn't even look at.
Told to come back next day as my issue wasn't
