Get Lippy month – gynaecological health

May is Get Lippy month, organised by The Eve Appeal, Britain’s leading gynaecological charity, to raise awareness of the five gynae cancers and encourage everyone to Get Lippy and Loud by opening up life-saving conversations about gynaecological health. A recent survey (Yougov) found that only 7% of people said they had a good knowledge of gynaecological symptoms before they personally experienced them or a loved one did. Worryingly, only 5% of people believed they had good knowledge of the gynaecological cancers (womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal).

All through May, the Eve Appeal are joined by a host of health and beauty brands who will be giving at least 10% of sales of selected products to help fund research into the prevention and earlier diagnosis of gynae cancers.
