Emergency hospitalisation and dementia – online event

Dementia Change Action Network are running a free online event to bring together people with lived experience of dementia and professionals from emergency services, to discuss the challenges of emergency hospitalisation for people with dementia.  

From 12.00pm to 1.30pm on Thursday 23 February.

They will also look at what could help, and see how a person-centred document sharing people’s details and needs can support this difficult time.

This event is open to anyone with related experience: people living with dementia, family, partners and friends of people living with dementia, carers, people working within the emergency services and dementia support providers.

With an emphasis on sharing knowledge, experience and learning, this event will include breakout groups for those who wish to contribute.

This event is in conjunction with the NHSE Personalised Care Team.
