Free counselling for Turkish-speaking and English-speaking BMER women

IMECE’s Therapeutic Service creates a non-judgmental, confidential and secure environment for women 16+ to explore and process traumatic experiences caused by Violence Against Women and Girls  with an increased awareness of Harmful Practices such as Forced Marriage, so called “Honour” Based Violence.

The therapeutic service is free and waiting list is open to all Turkish speaking women & English speaking BMER (Black, minority ethnic, refugee) women affected from violence against women and girls. They offer face to face and remotely counselling sessions.

Additionally, they run drop in confidence building groups on Wednesdays which is open only for Turkish speaking women.
