Goodbye from Althea Bart (Healthwatch Waltham Forest Operations Manager)

After six years of working with Healthwatch Waltham Forest, it is with a deep sadness that I say I am leaving. My situation at home has meant that I did not get a chance to say good by properly. Please forgive me. I have met and worked with so many wonderful people at HWWF. All of whom taught me so much. The HWWF team have been and continue to be amazing. I am very proud of all that the team, the volunteers, the residents and our partners have achieved together. The HWWF team do a fantastic job with very little resource. Please bear with the team as they make the transition from one provider to another.

I have not left the borough. I have started a new role as Head of Community Participation at Whipps Cross Hospital. It is an exciting new role and I hope to be able to bring the community and the hospital closer together. My new contact details are althea.bart@nhs.net or call 07842322654.
