Do you know about the NHS Healthcare Travel Costs Subsidy Scheme which provides reimbursement of travel costs to and from hospital for people receiving one or more of the qualifying benefits and allowances.
See here for further details to see if you are eligible and how to claim for travel to and from Whipps Cross Hospital or other Barts Health NHS Trust hospitals.
Travel costs paid include bus, tube and train fares, petrol (paid per mile) and ULEZ charges but not minicab/taxi fares or parking.
