New COVID restrictions for Waltham Forest – Tier 3: Very High Alert

From Wednesday, 16 December, the Government have announced that Waltham Forest (and the whole of London plus parts of Essex and Hertfordshire) will be in Tier 3: Very High Alert as urgent action is needed to reduce transmission of the virus in these areas. Latest data shows an exponential rise in cases as well as rising local hospital admissions which will soon put additional pressure on already overstretched NHS capacity
