New NHS advocacy service

From 1st November 2022, free NHS advocacy services for Waltham Forest residents are being run by POhWER and Barnardo’s.
POhWER deliver independent advocacy services for health complaints, mental health, mental capacity and the Care Act.
Barnardo’s deliver Independent Advocacy for Children in Care (CIC), and care leavers between the ages of 5-25 years and Children’s and Young People Independent Visitor Service for Children in Care between the ages of 5-18 years.
