Our Big Conversation

NHS North East London have launched the Big Conversation. This is about listening to the people in the communities and understanding our views about health and care in north east London. It will help them focus on what matters to you and to work with you to improve what they do. 

In north east London, organisations working across health and care, including local government; the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector; the NHS and wider partners are working together to plan and deliver joined up health and care services. The collective ambition is to work with and for all the people of north east London to create meaningful improvements in health, wellbeing and equity.

Based on what is already known about the needs of local people, the focus is on four priorities for improving quality and outcomes and tackling health inequalities. These are:

  • Babies, children and  young people
  • Long term conditions
  • Mental health
  • Local employment and workforce

All of the information you give will be read and analysed and used to work with you to plan and make things better ensuring that the best experience is provided for everyone.

Events are being held through north east London in the coming months. There are two upcoming in Waltham Forest. 

Tomorrow (21st) there is a let’s talk about women’s health event in Walthamstow.

Wednesday 5th July is a let’s talk about health event in Leytonstone.
