of duty, the service is fairly bad overall. Communication is generally poor. The doctors don't call at the time they say they will, they ring the landline instead of the mobile, the reception staff don't pick up.
giving follow up care to my mother recently. It is hard to build a rapport with a GP though, and I have never seen the same GP twice. It is also hard to get an appointment and I don't feel comfortable saying it's an emergency to get an appointment the same day.
