Our annual report for 2023-24 features the impact we have made during the year on the health and wellbeing of Waltham Forest residents. This includes the Big Conversation and the Good Care Framework, listening to seldom heard groups within our community, work on vaccine literacy and GP access.

Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are groups of GP practices that work together with other community health services. A PCN can share specialist staff such as social prescribers and mental health practitioners across all GP practices within the network.

Across North East London, people were asked open-ended questions about what good health and care means to them. This led to the development of the Good Care Framework and the four pillars of good care.

This report examines what encourages and discourages people, particularly from seldom heard groups, to take part in health-related research.

Overall satisfaction for Whipps Cross University Hospital is at 45%, which is lower than the average of 51% for all hospitals within the North East London Integrated Care Board area. The Accident & Emergency department accounted for 40% of all feedback with only 39% positive.

Findings show that the overall sentiment is 72% positive.
